Tonight we were treated to a magnificent performance from an exciting new band called "Catch The Rain". As the tempestuous name suggests, they went down a storm! It’s an absolute joy to witness such a unique and inspired performance by a group of naturally gifted musicians. "Catch The Rain" have obviously worked extremely hard on the composition of the songs, the mix of instruments and the enchanting vocal harmonies. It is a relatively new band, but these folks are truly seasoned performers, because their impressive stage presence and easy sense of fun guided the audience to the one overarching fact; they were really, really good! Keep your eyes focused on our brilliant website in the near future because Mr John B was there video graphing the whole show: Nice!

Bryn Phillips, (AKA MC Bryn), kicked the evening off with some outstanding original songs. Songs with sad stories, songs with historical stories and hilarious songs about dead people riding on motorbikes! There is only one Bryn Phillips and we love him!!

MC Chris Irvin, (AKA Stunt Bryn), eloquently navigated the evenings festivities in his inimitable and endearingly insane style. Ta matey.

A massive thanks to the techy-up and techy-down teams, Mr Gary and Mr John B for the AV’s and Bryn for the fantastic website: http://www.woodmanfolk.co.uk/index.htm. Last but not least, the amazing folks at Ashwood Marina. Oh, what they have to put up with!!
