Crows were absolutely superb straight from the start. On their opening salvo, the Woodman audience sat wide-eyed and open mouthed, spellbound by the rich, powerful, and precise choral sonic wave that exuded from the stage. The sheer energy, confidence and accuracy behind every note sang and every riff played, established a massive stage-presence that prevailed throughout the entire evening.

Each member of the band exhibited a top-quality, highly developed individual skill-set that blended flawlessly with the whole, to form a colossal musical tour de force that was absolutely unstoppable. The comedic rapport bandied about between the band members and the audience was an absolute joy and added so much to what was already a truly unforgettable experience. I should mention that Mick Ryan was suffering from a terrible lurgy, but valiantly soldiered on with the audience perceiving nothing but excellence from this seasoned professional. What a star!
Thank you, Crows!

The house was hushed with awe as Amie Bain opened up the festivities with an absolute blinder of a set from start to finish. Our Amie knocked it out of the ball-park, with every note played perfectly and every song sang with style and confidence. We were impressed, Crows were very impressed and we all agreed that there is no doubt, Amie Bain should be out there knocking them dead in festival-land. Watch this space!

The night was confidently hosted by our very-own MC Chris, (Chris Irving), who’s inimitable style and grace is second to none. Ta matey!

Thanks go to Sue for jumping in on door duties when Deb’s organisational skills were required elsewhere in the room, Mr Gary & Mr John for the photo-videography and to the Techy-up & Techy-down teams and of course to the Ashwood Marina staff for keeping the beer, wine and crisps flowing nicely.
