I was an evening I had been looking forward to and an evening well worth waiting for. Tim has been performing at the Woodman for some years now and he always comes up with an act inspired and fresh with amusing and informative stories and anecdotes. This night lived up to his very best. We loved ‘Fix my Car’, Catchem’s End’ and Streetlight’ now old favourites. ‘One Day some Day’ from his latest CD also is tops.

He was accompanied on some songs by Pete on Djembe (an African drum) and Becca his new fiancée providing additional vocals. Pete played superbly and sympathetically to Tim’s songs. Becca has a beautiful voice and blended intimately with Tim’ lead to provide a seamless harmony and feel to the songs. (Congratulations Tim and Becca on you engagement!). The whole evening went by so quickly with Tim playing slow ballads, upbeat songs such as ‘Mr Ben Gurion’ and ‘Maurice’ and significant songs like the ‘Shepherd’s Son’, a plea from a seven year old to be able to live in peace. Tim we’re looking forward to your next visit.
