(Review taken from Derry's Facebook Post) Tonight we had the Wonderful Winter Wilson grace our humble stage. Oh wow, what a show they put on. Kip and Dave are one of the hardest working duos I know. They get gigs all over the world and the reason is simple; They’re incredible singers, incredible players, incredible songwriters and incredibly entertaining! They present such a professional, well-produced sound, but back it up with some hilarious on-stage banter. Their stage-show is the ray of sunshine that everyone needs in their lives. Nice one Kip & Dave!! Mr Dick Woodhouse opened the evening in some style. Dick plays all the “hard” ones that not many other folks would dare attempt, and he plays them well. We were treated to a plethora of Jake songs, traditional songs and much-loved northern classics. Perfect! As usual, a massive thank you to all the MC’s, Techy-up, Techy-down teams, AV Bryn and all the staff, at the Ashwood Marina. We couldn’t do it without you all. |
