In our 36th year and stronger than ever |

Hi Folks, Hope that you are all enjoying the weather. We at the Woodman try to organise things to maximise your enjoyment and I'm sure you will agree that we have surpasses ourselves with the weather! The summer recess means that we are in the middle of the festival season that kicked off in earnest with Bromsgrove. The organisers did us proud with a great venue, superb artists and an unbelievable atmosphere. If you are not a festival-goer I urge you to visit Bromsgrove next year. It is a real experience. The festival season continues with Burntwood on 18th to 20th August, followed by Shrewsbury the following weekend. That should set you up perfectly for the new season at The Woodman! The season starts on Friday 8th September when we welcome back Kieran Halpin. Kieran is always a popular guest and, having missed him for the last couple of years, I am looking forward to this with great anticipation. Although the programme is not yet finalised I can tell you that we have some great guests lined up for you this year, including Anthony John Clarke, Munday Turner and the amazing Vin Garbutt. So! Make a note in your diary.
We look forward to seeing you soon. |
