In our 40th year and stronger than ever
It’s Pete again, writing this on behalf of Trevor who, as you may know, is still recovering in hospital at the moment.
Coming up we’ve got Singer’s Night tonight, 8th October, followed next week on 15th October by local heroes Julia Disney and Tim Judson, who are becoming a ‘must see duo’.
Then on 22nd October a band who will appeal to all of you with rhythm in your shoes, Rag Mama Rag who are France based and perform traditional country blues with songs from Tampa Red, Leadbelly, Robert Johnson and Blind Boy Fuller. Certainly not to be missed. Then enjoy a Singer’s Night followed on the 5 November by the lovely Flossie Malavialle.
The 4th February next year sees our 40th Anniversary. Ian has lined up one of the very top acts on the Folk Scene; see the Woodman website for details.
Keep smiling, keep singing,
