In our 40th year and stronger than ever

Hi Folks,

Bonfire Night. Don’t go elsewhere and let your money go up in smoke because the 5 November brings the lovely Flossie Malavialle to the club.

On the 12 November we have Katriona Gilmore and Jamie Roberts. Katriona is well known as part of Tiny Tin Lady and Jamie in Kerfuffle. Expect some interesting and fascinating music.

He’s back again on the 19th our old favourite, Anthony John Clarke! Anyone who’s a regular at the club over the past seven years (or is it more?) will know and welcome his return. He must be doing something right.

The final date this month, the 26th, goes to Pete Coe. Well worth seeing and to quote the Electric Theatre, Guildford, “An evening with Pete Coe is an exhilarating experience."

Over the last, how ever many years it may be, the wonderful Fairfield have forged themselves a superb Thespian reputation for fun in the true Festive spirit. Once again they are our guests (do they know about it!) for our magnificent and lavish Christmas pantomime which is always one of the highlights of the year – and what is more – they are cheap! They’ll be here just before Christmas.

And finally, don’t forget 4th February next year our 40th Anniversary. We have one of the very top acts on the Folk Scene; see the Woodman website for details.

Looking forward to seeing you,

Pete
