(Review taken from Derry's Facebook Post) Wow! An Eddy Morton, tour de force! I said his talent was hewn out of solid genius and he did not disappoint. The man has a seam of pure musical gold running right through him from head to toe. Beautifully crafted songs derived from a wealth of life experiences, perfectly arranged melodious instrumentation, masterfully played on either guitar or keyboard, and a soulful, passionate vocal style solicitously matured from the rock idiom, made even more authentic by a recent bout of Flu! Years of energy, drive and commitment to the music scene has created Eddy Morton, one of this country’s finest singer songwriters. Who could hold a candle to Eddy? Well, our much-revered Woodmanite Dick Woodhouse, that’s who. Mr Woodhouse enthralled us all with a brilliantly varied and hugely entertaining set. I predicted a many and variously diversified set, and Dick delivered exactly that, perfectly. Simply splendid! MC Chris, AKA Chris Irving, guided us skilfully through the timings and the rhyming’s, calling upon years of enthusiastic MC’ing to keep us all guessing as to what the …. Is happening now! But in a good way. Mr Gary and Mr John B did a grand job of capturing all things AV. The Techy-up and Techy-down teams were right on the ball as ever. Last, but definitely not least, the marvellous Ashwood Marina staff worked fantastically hard to keep us all fed and watered. They treat us like family and we love them for it. Enjoy Yourself!
